As our SHUFL team continues to grow, we’d like you to meet Sam Catford, our new Marketing Manager. She’s 27 and lives by the coast in Kent, where she is renovating a Victorian terrace and enjoys walking her 14 year old Irish Red Setter Maddie.
She brings several years’ experience as an FMCG Brand Manager for an array of world-class beer and cider brands – Asahi, Sam Adams, Angry Orchard and Kingfisher – to her new role. Passionate about consumer behaviour trends, she’s using her expertise to build a competitive socialising brand with a strong personality that is fast becoming a key player in the On Trade industry.
In a nutshell, Sam’s responsible for developing and implementing the SHUFL brand in the UK and across all European Shuffleboard markets including Norway, Germany and Denmark.
She’s thrilled to have the opportunity to implement a new social-gaming concept in to the industry, working with a passionate and adaptable team in a fun start-up culture, where, she says, “everyone rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done!”

- Fun fact: She first came across shuffleboard while on holiday in Sweden, (it happened to be one of our tables) a few years ago and loved it. Who would have guessed that she’d be working for us in a few years’ time!
